Tracey Brooks Campaign Releases Second YouTube Video
Video Highlights
McNulty Family Endorsements
Congressional Candidate Tracey Brooks today released her second YouTube
video highlighting recent endorsements from family members of retiring
Congressman Michael McNulty.
Congressman McNulty’s father Jack McNulty recently endorsed Brooks on
his 86th birthday. Jack McNulty is a former Green Island Supervisor
and Mayor, a former Albany County Sheriff and the “Dean” of the local
Democratic Party. Congressman McNulty’s
sister, current Green Island Mayor Ellen McNulty Ryan, also endorsed Brooks and
is the Chairwoman of the Brooks campaign.
“Tracey is smart, energetic and hard-working and certainly has
the right kind of experience to best serve the people of the 21st
Congressional District,” said Mayor Jack McNulty. “I couldn’t sit back any
longer without endorsing her because I really feel she is the best qualified
candidate to succeed my son Mike.”
“I have a responsibility as Mayor of Green Island to work to
make sure that Mike’s successor will have the same character, ability and
availability that he possesses,” said McNulty Ryan. “Tracey Brooks is the most
qualified person for the job and truly is the only one who has a grasp for
what’s involved with running for and holding this office.”
“I am truly honored and thankful to have the support of the
McNulty family,” said Brooks. “I am also excited to unveil this new YouTube
video featuring the McNulty’s. Like
Congressman McNulty, I will work hard to bring our troops home safely,
jumpstart our local economy, provide comprehensive health care reform, support
our local farmers and small businesses, and push for more clean renewable
energy.”
As a lifelong resident of the Albany area and the Capitol Regional Director
for Senator Hillary Clinton for the last three years, Brooks enters the race
with working knowledge of the problems facing the region and experience in
finding solutions to them. -30-
