About me
Hello! I am Tracey Brooks, a dedicated UX/UI Product Designer passionate about creating user-centred digital experiences that empower and engage users. With over five years of design experience, I specialise in developing inclusive and accessible solutions that align closely with user needs and business goals.
My commitment to accessibility in design is deeply personal. As a parent of a child with special needs, I have witnessed firsthand the challenges faced by individuals who require extra support. This experience profoundly shaped my design philosophy, driving me to create solutions that are not only functional but also welcoming and intuitive for all users. I strive to ensure that every project I undertake includes a thoughtful approach to inclusivity so that my designs can better serve diverse audiences.
I refined my design skills through the Service NSW Design Bootcamp, where I transitioned into a dedicated design role, progressing from Junior Product Designer to Mid-Weight Product Designer. During this time, I successfully led projects that improved user satisfaction through data-driven design solutions and created design systems that fostered consistency and accessibility across platforms.
I am proficient in industry-standard tools, such as Figma, Adobe Creative Suite, and optimal workshop software, and I use them to bring concepts to life.
Throughout my career, I have been fortunate to lead impactful projects, including user research initiatives that promoted accessibility awareness among stakeholders and design solutions that significantly reduced customer support inquiries.
Beyond my design work, I remain actively engaged in exploring creative outlets and championing community initiatives that promote inclusivity in design.
I invite you to explore my portfolio, where you can view case studies demonstrating my commitment to marrying aesthetics and functionality. Let’s connect and discuss how we can collaborate to create exceptional user experiences!
